I'm going to meet David Koepp tomorrow. David Koepp, writer of such movies as Jurassic Park, Spider Man, Mission Impossible, Secret Window, War of the Worlds, Panic Room, and the NEXT Indiana Jones!
I don't even know how to handle it.

Life Observation #643
I feel that most regrets in life come not from chasing something too much, but for lingering while you watch it pass you by. And when I look back on the decisions I've made, a lot of them have been tough, but the only ones I regret are the ones where I chose not to give my all or try my best or make that tough decision. My toughest decisions have been the most valuable of all. And I wouldn't change them for the world.

This is the youngest I'll ever be
You can get a lot of free ice cream in Ann Arbor on your birthday.

Friday is my salvation this week
I love this song. The funny thing is, it looks sorta sad. A lot of the lyrics are real downers. But whenever I listen to it I get really into it and I feel better and more ready to tackle whatever tough stuff I'm dealing with. I think that comes from the chorus -- Yeah, things get rough, things get stressed, things fall apart, and yes, we're in overtime and we're coming to the last second. But there's time left. Things can still change. I don't know about anyone else, but I've seen a football game won in the last second. 8 seconds is eternity. 8 seconds can change your world.
I never knew
I never knew that everything was falling through
That everyone I knew was waiting on a queue
To turn and run when all I needed was the truth
But that's how it's got to be
It's coming down to nothing more than apathy
I'd rather run the other way than stay and see
The smoke and who's still standing when it clears
Everyone knows I'm in
Over my head
Over my head
With eight seconds left in overtime
She's on your mind
She's on your mind
Let's rearrange
I wish you were a stranger I could disengage
Just say that we agree and then never change
Soften a bit until we all just get along
But that's disregard
Find another friend and you discard
As you lose the argument in a cable car
Hanging above as the canyon comes between
Everyone knows I'm in
Over my head
Over my head
With eight seconds left in overtime
She's on your mind
She's on your mind
Everyone knows I'm in
Over my head
Over my head
With eight seconds left in overtime
She's on your mind
She's on your mind
And suddenly I become a part of your past
I'm becoming the part that don't last
I'm losing you and its effortless
Without a sound we lose sight of the ground
In the throw around
Never thought that you wanted to bring it down
I won't let it go down till we torch it ourselves
And everyone knows I'm in
Over my head
Over my head
With eight seconds left in overtime
She's on your mind
She's on your mind
Everyone knows
She's on your mind
Everyone knows I'm in over my head
I'm in over my head
I'm in over...
Everyone knows I'm in
Over my head
Over my head
With eight seconds left in overtime
She's on your mind
She's on your mind
(the fray)

Click my heels three times...
I am crawling out of my skin to get to Michigan. I am so ready for school, for having friends around, to just have a routine, busy full days, doing things I like, hanging out with people I like. But that's not all. I'm in the process of moving again, and it's making me crazy. In the past year, I've moved from Anderson to Jersey, Jersey to England, back from England again, and now on to Michigan. Four major moves in the past twelve months. Half the reason I'm considering staying in Ann Arbor over the summer is because I don't want to go through moving again. Every time I've moved some where in the past year, I've known it's not going to be for long. And I am *so* excited about Michigan, not because of all the fun times and the academics (taking a semester out of school will make a nerd out of anyone) or because we have a kick butt football team (because I would feel this way no matter which school I would be starting out this year), but because I know I'm going to be there for a while. I can settle finally. It can sorta become home.
